The tour involves a lot of walking, stairs if you want to enjoy the stops to the fullest so be aware before booking.”

Apparently if you book thru Viator, you get the B&B's. If you book directly through Railtours, they put you in the nicer hotel which is in the center of town. in addition, I was advised by someone that booked directly that you also get breakfast on board the train included. And didn't have accommodation organised for us at all. So they sent us off with day passes seeing as I had the receipt and tried to organise accomodation for us while we were on the way. Bad news was : all b&b accommodation was sold out, so we had the choice to cut to the 1 day tour, or pay extra for the 4 star accommodation. I didn't have any other accommodation set up to go back to Dublin at the end…”
